It's annoying when you start getting messages on Facebook from people when you do not wish to talk to them. Perhaps you're active completing actual work or are dug into another thing more intriguing. No matter the factor, it can occasionally be unpleasant. But Facebook has an option on the web variation on the desktop that allows you to appear Inactive. 7. Click Okay.
You will show up offline to various other Facebook customers in the Chat home window. They can still send you messages, but the message will not automatically open or display a popup notice. Nonetheless, you can still see red phoned number notices on top of the page.
To transform Chat back on again, click the Turn On Active Status link at the end of the Facebook Chat sidebar or click the equipment symbol in the reduced right corner of the display on any type of web page in Facebook and also choose Turn On Active Status.

1. Open the Facebook application on your mobile device.
